  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon green onion, chopped

Instructions

Cooking the Beef

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • While the beef cooks, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, gochujang, and black pepper in a small bowl. Mix well to create a flavorful sauce.
  • Drain any excess fat from the skillet, if necessary.
  • Pour the sauce over the cooked ground beef, stirring to coat the meat evenly. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Sautéing the Vegetables

  • In another pan, sauté the carrots and broccoli in a little oil over medium heat until tender, about 5 minutes.

Assembling the Bowl

  • Place a scoop of cooked rice or noodles at the bottom of each bowl.
  • Top with the saucy ground beef and add the sautéed vegetables on top.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and additional chopped green onions before serving.
