Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots) Use any seasonal vegetables you like.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to garnish Fresh parsley Chopped, for presentation.

Instructions
 

Cooking Orzo

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the orzo according to package directions for about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Cooking Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn.

Adding Vegetables

  • Stir in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 3 to 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.

Final Assembly

  • Add the cooked orzo and lemon juice to the skillet. Mix thoroughly to coat the orzo and combine it with chicken and vegetables.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken in olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice for 30 minutes before cooking. Experiment with different vegetables and seasonings to customize the dish.
