Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces Salmon Filets Approximately 6 oz. each, 1 inch thick.
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cracked Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 5 Tbsp Unsalted Butter Divided.
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 3 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp Lemon Zest
  • 2-3 Tbsp Fresh Dill Chopped.
  • Lemon Slices For Garnish Optional.

Instructions
 

  • Let the salmon filets sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  • Pat the filets dry and season with sea salt, cracked pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and let it melt.
  • Place the salmon filets skin-side up in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until they lift easily from the pan.
  • Carefully flip the salmon and reduce heat to medium. Cook for another 4-6 minutes until opaque.
  • Add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter, minced garlic, and chopped dill to the skillet.
  • Stir in the lemon juice and zest, allowing the sauce to meld with the salmon.
  • Remove from heat and let the salmon rest for 5 minutes before serving.
