Instructions
Let the salmon filets sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
Pat the filets dry and season with sea salt, cracked pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and let it melt.
Place the salmon filets skin-side up in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until they lift easily from the pan.
Carefully flip the salmon and reduce heat to medium. Cook for another 4-6 minutes until opaque.
Add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter, minced garlic, and chopped dill to the skillet.
Stir in the lemon juice and zest, allowing the sauce to meld with the salmon.
Remove from heat and let the salmon rest for 5 minutes before serving.
