Salad Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped Use fresh romaine for best flavor.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for best taste.

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 large lemon, juiced Adjust according to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper Season to your liking.

Optional Topping

  • to taste croutons For added crunch.

Preparation

  • Wash and chop the romaine lettuce. Place it in a large bowl.
  • Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the bowl with the lettuce.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Assembly

  • Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients.
  • Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese on top.
  • Toss everything gently to ensure the dressing coats all the ingredients evenly.
  • Serve immediately. If you like, add croutons for extra texture and crunch.
