Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp lemon zest freshly grated
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 whole banana
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks frozen
  • 1 cup soy milk or your preferred plant milk
  • 1 pinch turmeric powder
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup optional
  • 1/3 cup protein powder unflavored, optional

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients for the smoothie.
  • In a high-speed blender, combine the soy milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, banana, frozen pineapple chunks, turmeric powder, and protein powder (if using).
  • Blend on high speed until smooth, about 30-60 seconds. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more soy milk.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding maple syrup if desired, then blend again briefly.
  • Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately.
