In a high-speed blender, combine the soy milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, banana, frozen pineapple chunks, turmeric powder, and protein powder (if using).
Blend on high speed until smooth, about 30-60 seconds. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more soy milk.
Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding maple syrup if desired, then blend again briefly.
Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately.
