Loaded Christmas Puppy Chow

- 9 cups Chex cereal This is the base that adds crunch and structure.
- 1 cup chocolate chips These will melt beautifully to coat the cereal.

- 1 cup powdered sugar This adds the final touch of sweetness to the treat.
- 1 cup festive sprinkles or holiday candies Optional for a festive look!
- 0.5 cup butter This adds a smooth texture when melting the chocolate and peanut butter.
Instructions
Preparation
- In a large bowl, measure out 9 cups of Chex cereal and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 cup of peanut butter. Microwave for 30 seconds.
- Stir the mixture and return to the microwave, heating in additional 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
Mixing
- Pour the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the Chex cereal and gently mix until coated.
- Add 1 cup of powdered sugar to a large zip-top bag, then transfer the chocolate-coated Chex mixture into the bag, seal, and shake to coat.
- If desired, mix in 1 cup of colorful sprinkles or holiday candies.
Cooling and Serving
- Spread the Puppy Chow mixture on a baking sheet or parchment paper and let it cool completely.
