Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. rotini pasta (or ziti or penne)
  • 24 oz. spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 14 oz. frozen meatballs
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • optional parmesan cheese and herbs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a 9x13 baking pan, combine uncooked pasta, spaghetti sauce, milk, water, frozen meatballs, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried oregano, and salt.
  • Stir everything together until well combined.
  • Cover the baking pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • After 45 minutes, remove the foil and check pasta doneness. If needed, cover and bake for a few more minutes.
  • Once pasta is tender, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Let the casserole sit for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes
