Melting Snowman Cupcakes
Delightfully charming cupcakes that resemble snowmen, perfect for holiday gatherings and creative baking projects with family and friends.
Ingredients
For the Cupcakes
- 6 pieces cupcakes (store-bought or homemade) Choose a flavor of your choice.
For the Decorations
- 12 pieces pretzel sticks Used as arms.
- 1 container white frosting Enough to generously frost 6 cupcakes.
- 1 tube orange decorating frosting For the noses.
- 1 tube black decorating frosting For the eyes and buttons.
- 6 pieces large marshmallows For the snowman heads.
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Line a 6-cup cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
Baking
- If using a cake mix, follow the package instructions to prepare the batter.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared cupcake pan, filling each liner about two-thirds full.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
- Check for doneness using a toothpick; if it comes out clean, they are ready.
Cooling
- Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes.
- Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Frosting and Decoration
- Once cool, generously pipe white frosting onto each cupcake to create the 'snow' layer.
- Decorate each marshmallow with black frosting for the eyes and orange frosting for the nose.
- Carefully place each decorated marshmallow on top of the frosted cupcake.
- Insert two pretzel sticks into each cupcake to represent arms.
- Pipe three small dots down the front of the marshmallow with black frosting for buttons.
Serving
- Once decorated, your Melting Snowman Cupcakes are ready to enjoy!

Notes
