Flavoring Ingredients

  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese (or cotija cheese) Feta is a great substitute for cotija.
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adjust to taste for spiciness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Add fresh garlic for more flavor.
  • Juice of 1 lime lime Fresh lime juice enhances the dip.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (optional) Adds freshness to the dip.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained corn, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Stir well to create a creamy base.
  • Add in the crumbled feta cheese, chili powder, garlic powder, and lime juice. Mix until all ingredients are evenly integrated.
  • Taste the mixture and add salt and pepper as needed, adjusting to your preference.
  • If desired, fold in the chopped cilantro to enhance the flavors.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for about 10 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
