Ingredients
  

For the Santas

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled Choose firm, ripe strawberries.
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream Make sure mixing bowl and beaters are chilled for best results.
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar For sweetening the whipped cream.
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate sprinkles Use for decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries gently under cool water and hull them.
  • Cut a small slice off the bottom of each strawberry to create a base.
  • Slice the tip off each strawberry to make Santa's hat and set them aside.

Whipped Cream

  • In a bowl, combine heavy whipping cream and confectioners' sugar.
  • Whip the mixture until soft peaks form.

Assembly

  • Spoon a generous dollop of whipped cream onto the top of each strawberry base to form Santa's face and beard.
  • Place the reserved strawberry tops onto the whipped cream for Santa's hat.
  • Add a small dot of whipped cream on top of the hat for the 'pom-pom' using a toothpick.
  • Add two additional dollops of whipped cream on the base for buttons.
  • Use chocolate sprinkles for Santa's eyes.
