  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Fresh or thawed
  • 1 cup Cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken or cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with pepper jack or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing Greek yogurt can be used as a lighter option
  • 1/2 cup Cooked and crumbled sausage Adds a rich flavor to the dish

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For color and flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Adds freshness and color

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, ranch dressing, and cooked sausage until well mixed.
  • Spread the mixture evenly over the seasoned chicken in the dish.
  • Top with cheddar cheese, spreading it evenly.

Cooking

  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or with roasted vegetables. For a crispier topping, add breadcrumbs before baking. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
