Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats Use rolled oats for better texture.
  • 1 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative) Almond milk or cashew milk can be used for a lighter version.
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon coffee (brewed or instant)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or sugar) Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt

Toppings

  • chocolate chips, nuts, or fresh fruit Customize as per preference.

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, sweetener, coffee, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring well to combine everything evenly.
  • Divide the mixture into jars or containers with lids, sealing each one tightly.
  • Refrigerate overnight, or for at least six hours, to allow the oats to soak and flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, stir the oats well to ensure a creamy texture and add your favorite toppings.

Notes
