Nutella Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons butter (room temperature)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 very ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup Nutella (warmed slightly for swirling)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Add the mashed bananas and milk, mixing until combined.
  • Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt over the wet mixture. Gently fold until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Microwave the Nutella for 15 to 20 seconds to soften it. Take one cup of the batter and mix it with the warmed Nutella in a separate bowl.
  • Alternate spoonfuls of the regular batter and Nutella batter into the prepared loaf pan. Use a knife to swirl the two together gently.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
