Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Pasta Your favorite shape
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Vegetable Broth
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  • Add chopped onion and cook for about 5 minutes until soft and translucent.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute, ensuring it doesn't brown.
  • Add canned diced tomatoes, dried basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then pour in vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add pasta to the skillet, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes or until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and well combined.
  • Adjust seasoning as needed, then garnish with fresh basil before serving.
