taco seasoning package

salsa

elbow macaroni

shredded taco blend cheese

tablespoon
fresh diced cilantro

Instructions
In a large skillet or pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Drain excess fat, then sprinkle taco seasoning over the beef.
Pour in water, salsa, and uncooked elbow macaroni. Stir gently to combine.
Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Let simmer for 12-15 minutes until macaroni is tender.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese until melted. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cover for a few minutes to melt.
Serve in bowls, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
