  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth Feel free to substitute with vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adjust to taste for spiciness.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste Essential for enhancing flavor.

Preparation

  • In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into smaller pieces as it cooks.
  • Once the beef is no longer pink, drain any excess grease.
  • Add the drained beans and diced tomatoes to the pot.
  • Pour in the beef broth and stir in the macaroni.
  • Sprinkle in the chili powder and garlic powder, and add salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking

  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a gentle simmer.
  • Cover the pot and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the macaroni is al dente.
  • Once cooked, reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
