One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk (whole or low-fat)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnishing)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Add pasta and milk, stirring to coat the pasta.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally to keep the pasta submerged.
  • Cook for about 15 minutes until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.
  • Remove from heat, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes
