Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 jar marinara sauce 24 ounces
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 ounces, drained
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 oz spaghetti uncooked
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan for serving
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes for serving, optional
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil for topping, optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Add beef broth, marinara sauce, and diced tomatoes to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder into the mixture and stir well.
  • Add uncooked spaghetti to the skillet, ensuring it is submerged in the sauce.
  • Bring the mixture to a rolling boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the spaghetti is tender.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot, topped with grated parmesan, red pepper flakes, and fresh basil.
