  • 2 pieces oranges, peeled and segmented Choose ripe, juicy oranges for the best flavor.
  • 1 piece banana, sliced Frozen banana slices can be used for a thicker smoothie.
  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or vanilla) For a higher protein version, consider Greek yogurt.
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice) Can use soy, coconut, or regular dairy milk.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes Add more for a colder texture.

Preparation

  • Prepare your ingredients by peeling and segmenting the oranges and slicing the banana.
  • Place the oranges, banana, yogurt, almond milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract in a blender.
  • Add the ice cubes for a chilled, refreshing texture.
  • Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Adjust thickness by adding more almond milk if necessary.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, then blend again briefly to mix.
  • Pour the smoothie into tall glasses and enjoy immediately.
