Instructions
Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until finely crushed, reserving 1 cup of crumbs for garnish.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
Fold in the whipped topping gently to maintain fluffiness.
In another bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with milk for about 2 minutes until thickened.
Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
In a trifle dish or individual cups, layer crushed Oreos and the creamy mixture. Repeat layers, finishing with a layer of crushed Oreos on top.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Before serving, garnish with reserved Oreo crumbs and optional gummy worms or edible soil.
