Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened At room temperature
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

For the Filling

  • 12 cookies Oreo cookies

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing well to combine.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Using a cookie scoop or your hands, take a generous amount of dough and flatten it slightly in your palm. Place an Oreo cookie in the center and wrap the dough around it, sealing it well.
  • Place the stuffed dough ball on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers look slightly underbaked.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
