Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Old-Fashioned Oats
  • 2 cups Milk of Choice or Water
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup Slivered Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup Yellow Peaches Thinly sliced.

Instructions
 

  • In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the milk or water to a boil over medium heat.
  • Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and stir in the oats. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until creamy.
  • In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add slivered almonds and toast for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and sliced peaches to the pan with almonds. Stir to coat and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until peaches soften.
  • Once the oatmeal is creamy and the peach mixture is fragrant, spoon the oatmeal into bowls and top with the peach mixture.
  • Drizzle with extra brown sugar or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days. Reheat with a splash of milk or water.
