Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by gathering all your ingredients. Measure out the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, creamy peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  • Using a whisk or an electric mixer, blend the ingredients together until they form a smooth and creamy mixture. Ensure there are no lumps.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if desired, adding more honey or maple syrup as necessary.

Churning

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to churn until it reaches a soft-serve consistency, typically about 20-30 minutes.
  • If you do not have an ice cream maker, transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1 to 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to prevent ice crystals from forming.

Serving

  • Once the yogurt reaches your desired consistency, serve immediately for a soft, creamy treat.
  • For a firmer texture, cover the container with a lid and freeze for an additional 2 to 3 hours before serving.

Notes

To enhance flavors, chill the yogurt mixture for 30 minutes before churning and choose high-quality peanut butter. Store in a tightly sealed container in the freezer, using parchment paper on the surface to maintain creaminess.
