Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, blending until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together baking soda and salt, then gradually add to the peanut butter mixture and stir until combined.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Baking

  • Bake the cookies for about 8 to 10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden. Be cautious not to overbake.
  • Immediately press a mini Reese's cup into the center of each cookie after removing them from the oven.

Cooling

  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
