Ingredients
  

For the glaze

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar Packed
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Main ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for dusting, optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Stir in the brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring constantly.
  • Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 3 minutes, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and add vanilla extract and salt, mixing well.
  • In a large bowl, combine chopped pecans, crispy rice cereal, and mini marshmallows.
  • Pour the glaze over the mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Shape the portions into bite-sized balls.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
  • If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
