Ingredients
  

Fruits and Base

  • 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple (NOT drained)
  • 15 ounce can of mandarin oranges (drained very well)
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 packages instant pistachio pudding mix (3.4 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries (drained, rinsed, stems removed and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 8 ounce container of frozen whipped topping (thawed)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the entire can of crushed pineapple without draining it.
  • Fold in the well-drained mandarin oranges.
  • Sprinkle the mini marshmallows over the fruit mixture and gently toss to combine.
  • Evenly sprinkle the instant pistachio pudding mix over the mixture and stir to combine.
  • Add the chopped maraschino cherries and pecans, gently mixing without mashing the fruits.
  • Fold in the sweetened flaked coconut.
  • Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping, being careful not to overmix.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least two hours.
  • Before serving, stir the mixture and garnish as desired.

Notes
