Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons shelled pistachios
  • 1 large frozen banana Use a ripe banana for better sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts Adds protein and healthy fats.
  • 1 cup baby spinach Can be substituted with other greens.
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened soy milk Can use any preferred liquid.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Soak the shelled pistachios in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes to enhance creaminess (optional).
  • Prepare the other ingredients by taking the frozen banana out of the freezer and measuring the spinach and hemp hearts.

Blending

  • In your blender, add the soaked (or raw) pistachios, frozen banana, hemp hearts, spinach, and soy milk.
  • Blend on low to combine, then increase the speed to high and blend for 30 to 60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, add more soy milk to adjust the consistency.

Serving

  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
  • Top with chopped pistachios or hemp hearts for added texture.
