Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup 100% pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour spooned and leveled
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter for glaze
  • cup pure maple syrup
  • cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for glaze
  • a pinch salt for glaze

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the pumpkin puree, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • For the glaze, melt the butter and maple syrup together, then whisk in the powdered sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
  • Once the bread has cooled, pour the maple glaze over the top before serving.
