Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1 ⅓ cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk until well blended.
  • In a separate medium bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
