  • 1 cup rolled oats Use rolled oats for the best texture.
  • 1 cup milk (or any plant-based milk) Any milk option works; use almond or coconut milk for a tropical flavor.
  • 1 ripe mango, diced Ensure the mango is ripe for optimal sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness according to your taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt Balances sweetness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Select a bowl or jar that you can easily cover.
  • Pour 1 cup of rolled oats into the bowl or jar.
  • Add 1 cup of your choice of milk.
  • Add the diced mango to the bowl.
  • Mix in 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.
  • Get in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Add a pinch of salt.
  • Stir the mixture well to combine all ingredients.
  • Cover the bowl or jar tightly and refrigerate overnight.

Serving

  • In the morning, take the mixture out of the refrigerator and stir it well.
  • If the oats are too thick, add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve directly from the bowl or transfer to another bowl and top with additional mango slices or nuts for texture.
