Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef lean
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for sautéing

Instructions
 

  • Start by chopping your onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Prepare the ground beef by seasoning it with salt and pepper.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up into crumbles. Stir occasionally to brown evenly, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes, until the vegetables soften and the onions become translucent.
  • Stir in the tomato paste and let it cook for 1–2 minutes. Add the crushed tomatoes and beef broth, stirring to combine.
  • Season the dish with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens to your liking.
  • Serve hot with your choice of sides, and enjoy!

Notes
