Ingredients
  

Cake Ingredients

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs

Pudding Filling

  • 1 package white chocolate pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups milk

Toppings

  • to taste Whipped cream or frosting For topping
  • to taste Chocolate shavings or sprinkles For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the instructions found on your chosen cake mix box.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake according to the package instructions or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the dish for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Use a fork to poke holes all over the top of the cake.

Filling and Chilling

  • In another mixing bowl, whisk the white chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups of milk until thickened.
  • Pour the pudding mixture evenly over the cake.
  • Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Serving

  • Top the chilled cake with whipped cream or frosting.
  • Sprinkle chocolate shavings or sprinkles on top before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 5 days. Can also be frozen for longer storage. Customize with different toppings or fillings as desired.
