candy eyeballs

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
Add the smooth peanut butter and mix until fully incorporated.
Mix in the vanilla extract and egg until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the Reese’s Pieces and chocolate chips (if using).
Scoop the dough into 1.5-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Press candy eyeballs into the center of each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
