Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats

Adorable festive treats that resemble reindeer, made with classic Rice Krispie ingredients and decorated with candy for a fun holiday snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Tbsp butter (plus extra for greasing the pan)
  • 10 oz. mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 2 oz. white chocolate baking chocolate, candy coating, or melts (divided)
  • 16 candy eyes
  • 16 chocolate covered pretzels
  • 7 brown M&Ms
  • 1 red M&M
  • as needed Christmas sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Grease an 8-inch cake pan with butter.
  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter completely. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and gently fold in the crispy rice cereal until well coated.
  • Press the mixture evenly into the prepared cake pan and allow it to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, invert the treats onto a platter and cut into desired shapes.
  • Melt half of the white chocolate according to package instructions. Use it to attach candy eyes to the top of each treat.
  • Press chocolate covered pretzels into the top for antlers, and add a dollop of melted white chocolate for the nose, pressing a brown M&M into it.
  • Use remaining melted white chocolate to sprinkle between the antlers and top with Christmas sprinkles.
  • Allow the white chocolate to harden before serving.
