Ingredients
  

Pizza Base and Toppings

  • 1 pre-made pizza crust 1 pre-made pizza crust
  • 1 cup 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 head 1 head of garlic Roasted for flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons olive oil For roasting garlic.
  • 1 cup 1 cup white sauce (alfredo or béchamel) Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup ricotta cheese Dollops added before baking.
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For added flavor.

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • to taste Salt to taste

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Adds freshness to the dish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the instructions for your pizza crust, typically around 475°F (245°C).
  • Prepare the garlic by cutting off the top of the head and wrapping it in aluminum foil. Drizzle olive oil over the exposed cloves and seal the foil.
  • Roast the garlic in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  • While the garlic roasts, cook your chicken if it's not already prepared. Shred it into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  • Once the garlic is done roasting, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool slightly. Squeeze the softened cloves out of the skins and mash them into a paste.
  • In a bowl, mix the mashed garlic with the white sauce. Adjust the salt to taste.

Assembly

  • Roll out your pizza crust on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Spread the garlic white sauce evenly over the crust.
  • Evenly distribute the shredded chicken on top of the sauce.
  • Add dollops of ricotta cheese around the pizza and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Season with dried oregano, dried basil, and a pinch of salt.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly and the crust is cooked to your liking.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley before slicing.

Notes

Consider pairing the pizza with a simple arugula salad drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. Add crushed red pepper flakes or extra grated Parmesan on the side for customization. This pizza is also customizable with vegetables or different cheeses.
