  • 3 lb 1 (3 lb) bag frozen meatballs Opt for high-quality frozen meatballs for the best flavor and texture.
  • 1 large 1 large yellow onion, peeled & thinly sliced
  • 21 oz 2 (10.75 oz) cans condensed beefy mushroom soup Can increase for a richer sauce.
  • 1 packet 1 packet onion mushroom soup mix
  • 1.5 cups 1 ½ cups beef broth Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 0.25 cups ¼ cup A1 steak sauce Adjust for taste.
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons cornstarch Can increase for a thicker sauce.

Preparation

  • Begin by tossing the frozen meatballs and sliced onions into the slow cooker. Stir gently to combine.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the condensed beefy mushroom soup, onion mushroom soup mix, beef broth, and A1 steak sauce. Whisk together until well combined.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs and onions in the slow cooker and stir gently to coat.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • About half an hour before serving, whisk together the cornstarch with ¼ cup of the cooking juice until smooth and stir back into the slow cooker.
  • Allow to cook for an additional 30 minutes.
