Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined, tails on
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tsp fresh parsley leaves chopped
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3/4 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, soy sauce, lemon zest, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Add minced garlic and chili flakes, mixing to combine.
  • Place shrimp in a resealable freezer bag and pour marinade over them. Seal the bag and shake gently to coat.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, up to 8 hours for deeper flavor.
  • When ready to cook, remove shrimp from marinade and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Drizzle reserved marinade over cooked shrimp before serving for extra flavor.

Notes

Store leftover marinade in an airtight container for up to 3 days, but do not reuse on raw proteins.
