Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and a small mixing bowl.
  • Pour the extra virgin olive oil into the mixing bowl.
  • Rinse and chop the capers, then add them to the bowl.
  • Juice the lemon, being careful to avoid seeds, and add the juice and zest to the bowl.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix all ingredients together well with a whisk or fork.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings or acidity as needed.

Serving
