Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.

Final Touch

  • 2 cups egg noodles Add 30 minutes before serving.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Optional garnish.

Preparation

  • Prepare all your ingredients first: shred the cooked chicken, slice the carrots and celery, chop the onion, and mince the garlic.

Combining Ingredients

  • In the slow cooker, combine shredded chicken, chicken broth, sliced carrots, celery, chopped onion, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix well to ensure even distribution of flavors.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
