Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melt before adding to the slow cooker.
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) Fresh garlic is preferred for better flavor.

Spices and Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish) Add just before serving for a touch of freshness.

Preparation

  • Cut beef into bite-sized pieces and halve the baby potatoes.
  • Layer the beef and potatoes evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour the garlic butter mixture over the beef and potatoes in the slow cooker.
  • Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and paprika, and stir gently to combine.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and choose to cook on high for about 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.

Serving

  • Check the dish before serving; stir gently and garnish with parsley.
