  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch For thickening the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon water To mix with cornstarch.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • In your slow cooker, mix together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker, ensuring they are well-coated with the sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set to cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or on high for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken and let it rest on a plate.
  • Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry, and stir into the sauce in the slow cooker.
  • Cook on high for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Return the chicken to the slow cooker for 5 minutes to soak up the sauce before serving.

Notes
