Ingredients
  

For the Smokies

  • 1 package little smokies (cocktail weenies)

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Choose a good quality sauce for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar Can be substituted with maple syrup for a different flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional for extra flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Optional for extra flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pour the BBQ sauce and brown sugar into your slow cooker and mix thoroughly.
  • Add garlic powder and onion powder if desired, and stir again.
  • Add the little smokies to the slow cooker and gently stir to coat them in the sauce.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 3 to 4 hours, or high for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Stir occasionally to ensure even heating and flavor absorption.
  • After cooking, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serving

  • Serve the smokies straight from the slow cooker using toothpicks or small skewers.
