  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce Adds savory flavor.
  • 1 ½ cups orange marmalade Provides sweetness and tang.
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar Balances the flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger For a warm spice flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the aroma.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil Adds richness to the sauce.
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes For a hint of heat.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds Adds texture and garnish.

For Garnish

  • Scallions chopped For garnish before serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  • Coat the chicken pieces evenly with cornstarch.

Browning

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken pieces for 3-4 minutes.
  • Transfer the browned chicken to the slow cooker.

Sauce Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine orange marmalade, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds. Whisk until mixed.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for about 3 hours, stirring halfway through.
  • Ensure the chicken is fully cooked and tender before serving.

Serving

  • Garnish with scallions and additional sesame seeds before serving.
