Slow Cooker Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 12 oz. frozen vegetables (your choice)
  • 10.5 oz. cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet French onion mix
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 48 oz. prepared mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and onion, stirring frequently for 6 to 8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add frozen vegetables.
  • Pour in cream of mushroom soup, sprinkle French onion mix, and drizzle Worcestershire sauce over the top. Mix well.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours or on HIGH for about 3 hours.
  • Spread prepared mashed potatoes evenly over the meat and vegetable layer in the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover and cook on LOW for an additional 15 minutes.
