  • 1 pound ground beef Use high-quality ground beef for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust based on personal preference.

Cooking Ingredients

  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce Choose your favorite brand.
  • 8 ounces spaghetti Cook separately according to package instructions.
  • 2 cups water or broth Use broth for added flavor.
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional) Adds color and flavor.

Prepare Meatball Mixture

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly using your hands, being careful not to overmix.
  • Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs.

Cook Meatballs

  • Place the formed meatballs in the slow cooker.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs and add water or broth. Stir gently to combine.
  • Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.

Cook Spaghetti

  • About 30 minutes before serving, cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Serve spaghetti topped with meatballs and marinara sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, if desired.

Notes

For best results, allow meatballs to rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before cooking. Storing leftovers separately can prevent the spaghetti from becoming soggy.
