Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Use high-quality chicken for better flavor.
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning Generously season for enhanced flavor.
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Kosher salt and black pepper Adjust according to your preference.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth Can use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese For garnish.
  • 1 cup baby spinach, chopped Add at the end for a fresh touch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, onion powder, Kosher salt, and black pepper.
  • Place seasoned chicken at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Mix well.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.

Cooking

  • Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 6 to 8 hours until the chicken is tender.
  • In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the chopped baby spinach.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Enjoy over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.

Notes
