  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy and smooth.
  • Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Gradually blend in the flour mixture until just combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips with a spatula or wooden spoon, ensuring even distribution.

Baking

  • Drop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are light golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
