  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Can be substituted with ginger or cardamom for variation.
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish using cooking spray or butter.
  • Arrange the sliced bananas in an even layer in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
  • Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until smooth and fully combined.

Baking

  • Pour the batter over the bananas in the baking dish, ensuring it covers the bananas evenly.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
