Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Use high-quality chicken for best results.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is recommended.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs Beaten before use.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed tablespoon Olive oil for frying For best results, use medium heat.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, crack and beat the eggs until well-blended.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, ensuring it's fully coated, then place into the Parmesan mixture and press gently to adhere.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Carefully place the coated chicken breasts in the skillet and cook each side for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Transfer the browned chicken into a baking dish and place it in the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serving

  • Slice the chicken breasts thickly and arrange on a platter.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve with lemon or herb sauce if desired.

Notes

For additional flavor, experiment with different herbs in the coating. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage.
