  • 2 pounds chicken wings Traditional party wings are preferred.
  • 1/2 cup honey Adjust for more sweetness if desired.
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard Substitute with spicy mustard for a kick.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • to taste Fresh parsley, for garnish Optional garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if you’re baking the wings.
  • Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the sauce until they are well coated.
  • Arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning the wings halfway through.
  • If grilling, prepare the grill according to the manufacturer’s instructions and set it to medium heat.
  • Cook the wings for about 30-35 minutes on the grill, turning occasionally for even cooking.
  • Keep an eye on the wings toward the end of the cooking time. They should be golden brown and sticky.
  • Remove the wings from the oven or grill, and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
  • Serve in a large bowl or platter with dipping sauces such as ranch or blue cheese.
  • Pair with crunchy veggie sticks for a refreshing contrast.

Notes

For crispier wings, dry them thoroughly before cooking. You can also air fry them for a healthier alternative. Adjust honey and mustard to taste, and consider marinating for deeper flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
